2019 was a busy year. Despite having Major Depressive Disorder, I have managed to create a comic called “A Dream About Mom.” It will be published as soon as my comics team, Zazu Zines + Comics, can obtain advertising dollars.
Making a comic has been one of the hardest art projects I have ever created. I used no computer software so EVERYTHING is hand created. It took a lot of focus, which my ADHD prevents, to follow through on ten pages of repeated subject matter. I worked on it for ten months, but of course, ADHD, waited till the last two weeks to complete the bulk of the drawing. Everything in life was dropped and my hands were very sore for those two weeks.
TODAY, ZAZU ZINE will be tabling at the RVA Zine Fest at the Richmond Public Library, downtown branch. Other Zazu comic artists will have their work for sale- Come support them!
You can now purchase the book at Barnes and Noble
