When I collage, I tend to be completely in the moment so my head clears out and I forget about life’s difficulties. I consider it a form of play and I particularly enjoy weird, funny contrasts among colors and characters. Sometimes my collages are born of stories; a whole narrative within one panel. My favorite source for collage material is magazines, especially National Geographic. Sometimes, I mix the media up and include old drawings and wallpaper pieces.
